Villemaurine

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
Grand Cru Classé
FAMILLE LEFEVERE
Château Villemaurine is an 8-hectare jewel on the top of the Saint-Emilion limestone plateau, but it is also a place steeped in history. For more than 400 years, the wines of the property have been the pride of their owners.

It is above all the exceptional location, just a few steps from the medieval village, that makes Villemaurine an outstanding wine. But the richness of the property lies in its terroir, a thin layer of clay laid on top of asteriated limestone, which itself is overhanging an extraordinary network of underground quarries.

Château Villemaurine is a true jewel case, combining the incomparable qualities of a place steeped in history and an exceptional terroir.

The wines are vinified and matured with the greatest respect for the soil and the fruit, giving minerality, freshness and aromatic purity, all combined with finesse and elegance.

Committed to a more responsible agriculture and concerned about its environment, the vineyard is part of a sustainable approach to continuous improvement.
