Château
Lynch-Moussas

Pauillac
Grand Cru Classé en 1855
The Castéja heirs
The name Lynch-Moussas goes back to the 19th century, when Count Lynch’s estate was divided in two: Lynch-Bages and Lynch- Moussas (Moussas is the place name where many of the vines are located).

he Castéja family, Pauillac land owners since the 17th century, acquired this château in the early 20th century. Émile Castéja inherited the estate, as well as management, in 1970. He immediately set about enhancing its development. His son, Philippe Castéja, has managed this and all the family’s Left Bank estates estate since 2001.

This date coincides with the creation of a second wine, Les Hauts de Lynch-Moussas. Château Lynch-Moussas is one of the only family-owned estaets to be sold on the Bordeaux market
