The Union des
Grands Crus de Bordeaux invites you to take part in an event traditionally
restricted to wine professionals. In order to take full advantage
of this day, we ask you to kindly read the following information
and to follow the suggestions contained therein.
1/ Tasting at this type of event
does not involve drinking (swallowing). Spitoons are available at
every stand. We suggest you use them systematically if you wish to
appreciate the large range of wines available.
2/ It is your own personal responsibity
to adapt your alcoholic consumption to your constitution, in keeping
with any health issues you may have, or medical treatment you are
undergoing. We remind you that alcohol is not recommended for pregnant
women and that, as a general rule, the abuse of alcohol is dangerous
to your health.
3/ If, at the end of your tasting,
you think that you have may gone over the legally authorized limit
to be able to drive a motor vehicle (this is defined as a concentration
of 0.25 milligrams per litre of expired air), please request a breath
analyser from a hostess. This will be provided free of charge. We
can also call for a taxi, but the cost is to be paid by yourself.
4/ If you are ordering tickets for
anyone other than yourself, please make sure to convey all the present
information and advice.
5/ Cancellation fees
- Between 14 and 8 days prior to the event: 50% of the total amount
- Less than 7 prior to the event: 100% of the total amount |
