Wines from over 100 prestigious estates belonging to the Union des Grands
Crus de
Bordeaux are available for tasting under one roof. Each château
will be presenting two
vintages: 2004 and the vintage of their choice from 1996 to 2003.
Entry fee: 53 euros (for reservations made by 10 May
2007 before 10p.m.) and 68
euros thereafter, half-price (26,50 euros) for wine professionals and students. Group
rates :
one free entry for every 9 purchased. Food is available
on site at a reasonable price.

Châteaux belonging to the
Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux will offer you the chance to dine at
their estate. Château owners
will present their wines at dinner : dry white, red,
and sweet white
great Grands Crus.
These dinners will take place in the Médoc, Graves, Sauternes, Saint-Emilion,
and Pomerol.
Price of the dinner (per person) : 130 euros (including return
transport by coach, from Bordeaux). You will be given the name of the château
on the day of the tasting.
Reservations must be made before 2nd May 2007. Places are limited.

Châteaux
open on SundayDiscovering the
Bordeaux Grands Crus
Châteaux belonging to the Union des Grands
Crus de Bordeaux will open their doors and offer Grands
Amateurs a personalised tour and tasting in the Médoc, Graves,
Sauternes,
Saint-Emilion, and Pomerol.
Price for a Pass Découverte (Discovery Pass) valid at all châteaux : 15
euros. the pass will be on sale on Sunday at participating châteaux (the
entire amount will be donated to medical research) and free for everyone who
has taken part in one of the activities on 12th May. Over 40 châteaux
belonging to the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux will be open for tastings.

Sunday Vineyard Tours
Châteaux owners belonging to the Union des
Grands Crus de Bordeaux offer various themed activities.
Price per person : 95 euros (including transport by coach and
lunch)
Bus departure point : Allée d'Orléans (Bordeaux town centre).
- Saint Emilion - "Nature
Tour"
9:45 a.m. : departure from Bordeauxl.
Tour of the vineyards, lunch at a Grand Cru estate château and visit by foot
of the town.
Return to Bordeaux : 5:30 p.m.
- Graves - "The Cradle of Bordeaux Wine"
10 a.m. : departure from Bordeaux.
Tour of an estate, lunch at a Grand Cru estate château and tour of Château
de la Brède.
Return to Bordeaux : 5 p.m.
- Sauternes - "ABC" tour - Architecture, Botritys and
local Cuisine
9:45 a.m. : departure from Bordeaux.
Tour of an estate in Barsac and another in Sauternes, lunch at a Grand Cru
Château.
Return to Bordeaux : 5:30 p.m.
- The Médoc - "Great Médoc Terroirs"
9:45 a.m. : departure from Bordeaux.
Vineyard tour by coach, lunch at a Grand Cru Château
Return to Bordeaux : 5:30 p.m.
- The Médoc - "Sunday Golf"
9 a.m.-4 p.m.: A game at the Golf du Pian Médoc.
Participants shouuld meet at the golf course at 9 a.m. for a "shotgun start"
followed by lunch at the end of the game.
Price per person : 55 euros (including lunch)
Reservations must be sent by 2nd May 2007 (by post) and by 9th May
(via Internet).
